Between January and February 2026, ten schools in the Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions received generators. Attacks on electricity infrastructure had left schools without reliable power and heating, preventing kitchens and some other essential services from operating.
The generators helped the schools continue operating and keep their shelters functional. During air-raid alerts, these shelters are used not only by pupils and teachers but also by people living nearby. The total value of the project was approximately €20,000.
