1. Data controller

2. What data we process and why

  • Correspondence. When you email or call us, we process your name, contact details, the organisation you represent and the content of your message in order to reply and cooperate. Legal basis - legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry and steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
  • Donations and donation agreements. When we receive support, we process the donor’s (individual’s or company representative’s) data, payment and agreement information to perform the agreement, report back to the donor and meet our accounting obligations. Legal basis - performance of a contract and legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).
  • Website analytics. Only with your consent, we use analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager) to understand how the website is used. Legal basis - consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). More in our Cookie policy.

3. How long we keep data

Correspondence - up to 3 years after the last contact unless it relates to an agreement. Donation and accounting documents - as long as required by Lithuanian law. Analytics data - up to 14 months.

4. Who we share data with

Service providers help us process data: website hosting, email and accounting providers, our bank and Google (analytics - only with your consent). We disclose data to public authorities where required by law. If data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the safeguards provided by the GDPR apply.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability and to withdraw your consent at any time. Contact us at info@youaid.lt.

If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (vdai.lrv.lt).
